HOW TO REPAIR A FUSE ON THE HONDA GX600 SERIES ENGINES
Before we get started we want to check that it is the actual fuse that needs to be repaired. First, make sure that your battery is charged. Second, you will want to turn the ignition key and check the hour meter. If the hour meter is blank, that is a solid indication that the fuse will need to be replaced. If you get a reading, it is probably not the fuse and will need a further inspection from a professional.

Tools Needed:
- #2 Phillips Head Screwdriver
- 7/16 Wrench
STEP 1: DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
Disconnect the negative cable first followed by the positive connection. Once the battery is disconnected, remove the battery.
STEP 2: DISCONNECT THE WIRING HARNESS
The wiring harness is secured by a clip. Lift that piece, and pull the male and female ends apart.
STEP 3: REMOVE THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW FROM THE BACK COVER
Once the screw is completely removed, the back cover should be free to be removed as well.
STEP 4: REPLACE THE BLOWN FUSE
Remove the old blown fuse and replace it with a new one. Make sure that there aren’t any defects in the new fuse before replacing it.
